Consular days in New Zealand
Consular days in New Zealand will be held in
AUCKLAND on
Friday, Saturday and Sunday 20-22 March 2026.
in the premises of the Croatian Cultural Society, 161 McLeod Road, Te Atatu South.
Consular services will be provided by appointment only. Bookings are essential. Please
be advised there are limited slots, so early booking might be essential. Bookings will be
done on the first to apply basis.
In order to book your appointment please provide information as per Consular services request
form attached and send to crocons.auckland@mvep.hr no later than Tuesday 17 March 2026.
For bookings in Auckland, please be advised that while preferred dates will be taken into
account, it might not be possible to book an appointment at the preferred date due to prior
booking of other applicants. Times available on Saturday and Sunday are from 10 am to 6 pm.
For bookings on Friday, please be advised that the times available are also from 10 am to 6 pm,
however, if there are not enough applicants for that day, timing might be shortened.
Keep in mind the consular officer will leave Canberra early on Thursday 19/03 and will
not have access to email after that and will not be able to reply .
Consular services include:
• Passport renewals, first time passport application (this supposes you do have a proof of
Croatian citizenship already) and issuing of passports
• Notary public affairs and verification of signatures (important - only with valid Croatian
passport or ID card, verification of copies
• Entries in the register of citizens and state registration (births, deaths, marriages) and
the requests for the issuing of birth certificates / certificate of citizenship; name change
(this supposes you do hold Croatian citizenship)
• Citizenship - applications for citizenship, consultations
• Other

Fees for consular services need to be paid online or directly at an ANZ Bank branch. We are
