Celebration of 45 years of the first radio programme in Croatian language in Australia

Croatian club in Wollongong and Croatian Catholic Centre organised a celebration of the 45th anniversary of the first radio programme in Croatian language in Australia. In his welcome speech Mr Roko Radocaj, the first director and editor of the Radio Programme, reminded of the importance of the Croatian radio programme and thanked all those, who contributed to its work in the past 45 years. Ambassador Kušen congratulated all initiators of the Croatian radio programme and those who participated in its work. He reminded of great richness of the Croatian culture and language and their historic heritage and especially invited young people to learn and nurture Croatian language and culture and be proud of the language of their fathers and predecessors. Ambassador Kušen also presented Mr Roko Radocaj with a special acknowledgment to all those who contributed to the work of the Croatian radio programme in Australia.
