Marcus Tanner was a permanent correspondent, a war reporter and an assistant foreign editor of the British daily newspaper The Independent. Photo ExhibitionPhoto exhibition „Modest Beauty“ by Robert Krivec A private view of the photo exhibition „Modest Beauty“ by Robert Krivec was held at the Croatian Embassy in London on 14th January 2009. “Modest Beauty” is Krivec's first solo exhibition. He was born in Croatia but has been living and working in London since 2007. He graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb in 2004 and has since taken part in numerous projects in Croatia and the United Kingdom as a cinematographer and photographer. The symposium entitled “Marco Antonio De Dominis (Rab 1560 – Rome 1624) – Catholic, Anglican and Ecumenist: A Celebration” brought together historians and academics from Croatia and Great Britain. "Isle of God" an exhibition by Arati Reddy-Devlin and John Holder„Isle of God“ – an exhibition of paintings by Arati Reddy – Devlin and John Holder Two British artists, Arati Reddy Devlin and John Holder, are the authors of an exhibition that opened at the Croatian Embassy in London on 16th January 2007. Arati Reddy Devlin and John Holders have been visiting the island of šipan in Croatia for years and have found its scenery inspirational. Also present at the private view was writer Andrew Smith.
