The fourth contingent of 20 members of the Croatian Armed Forces, mostly from the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence with two Mi-171-SH transport helicopters left on Thursday, May 6, for NATO KFOR (Kosovo Force) peacekeeping operation in Kosovo for a period of four months.

Rotation between the third and fourth contingent was conducted from April 29 to May 6. Commander of the 4th HRVCON in the KFOR peacekeeping operation is Captain Ivan Djelagic.
Fourth Croatian military contingent will be deployed in Bondsteel Camp in Ferizaj / Urosevac. The principal task of the Croatian contingent is hauling people and cargo, and contingent consists of three helicopter crews, aviation-technical maintenance team and national support element.
