On the initiative of Ambassador Damir Kušen, the New Zealand - Croatia Business Council was founded, in Auckland, with the aim of strengthening economic cooperation between Croatia and New Zealand. The first elected President of the Council is Sir Peter Talijancich, one of New Zealand’s most respected entrepreneurs and the owner of one of New Zealand’s leading companies in the fields of fishing and agriculture. In cooperation with the Croatian Embassy in Canberra, the Council plans to organize their first business trip to Croatia.
