Croatian young roboticists held a course in robotics for children of an Australian primary school in Geelong

Croatian young roboticists held a short course in robotics for children of an Australian Holy Family primary school in Geelong. About 50 children, many of whom are of Croatian origin, enjoyed the first steps in robotics. They were also invited to attend a summer school of robotics in Croatia. This course has further strengthened cooperation between young people in the homeland and Diaspora, precisely in the areas that young people are interested in. During their stay in Adelaide, Geelong, and Melbourne they have visited a number of Croatian clubs where they presented their knowledge of robotics to the children of Croatian immigrants. Together with all of them, they played a Robotic Alka, designed to combine the old historical and cultural Croatian heritage with the knowledge of robotics. With this visit, Croatia was presented as a modern European country, future-oriented and focused on innovation and new technologies.
