Croatian Embassy in Canberra organized a special reception for the leadership and members of the Australian - Croatian Congress , which in those days had the annual meeting in Canberra. President of the Croatian World Congress, and also the president of the Australian Croatian Congress ( ACC ) g . Stephen Asic presented the priorities of the ACC , highlighted the importance of better linking the Croatian community throughout Australia, and appreciated the good cooperation with the Embassy. Vlp.Kušen stressed that large Croatian community contributes significantly to the strengthening of cooperation, partnership and friendship between the two countries. The guest of honour at the reception was an Australian politician of the Croatian descent Mr Zed Seselja, Senator in the Australian Parliament, who has also emphasized the importance of the large Croatian community in building friendship and cooperation between Australia and Croatia.
