On an invitation by the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, Ambassador Kušen gave a lecture on Croatia and the European Union. Professors and students were especially interested for his experience as a member of the state negotiating team for Croatia’s accession to the EU in the areas of foreign security and defense policies, as well as foreign trade. He also met with the leadership of the University and discussed possible future cooperation.
