On the 28th September, Ambassador Kušen participated at the inauguration of the new Governor General of New Zealand, Dame Patsy Reddy, held in the capital city of New Zealand, Wellington. On this occasion, the Ambassador congratulated the Governor General on the appointment and said that as a representative of Croatia he is particularly proud of the prestigious large Croatian community living in New Zealand. Dr Kušen was greeted by the Prime Minister of New Zealand, John Key and met with the Minister for climate change and civil service in the Government of New Zealand, Mrs Paula Bennett, as well as with a number of representatives of the government administration and Parliament.
