On the initiative of Ivica Yohanan Haas and in the organization of the Rotary club Kfar Saba, members of the Rotary Club Osijek, Osijek academic community and experts paid a working visit to Israel, from 7 - 11 October 2018. Rotary club Osijek is a twin club with the Rotary clubs from Kfar Saba and Nazareth.
During the visit Croatian delegation had meetings with the leading Israeli researchers at the universities of Tel Aviv, Be"er Sheva, Bar-Ilan (Jerusalem) and Technion (Haifa), as well as visited the start-up centers in Rishon LeZion and Tel Aviv. Ambassador-designate Vesela Mrden Korac attended the get-together event between the guests from Osijek and the Rotary members from Kfar Saba and Nazareth. She expressed her satisfaction with the ties established and supported further development of cooperation.
