The Embassy of the Republic of Croatia participated at the Days of Europe at the Hebrew University Jerusalem – 12 May, and Haifa University – 15 May, along with many EU Member States" representatives.
At its stand at both Universities, Croatia presented the promotion materials of: the University of Zagreb, the University of Rijeka, the University of Split, the Ministry of Science, Education and Sport of the Republic of Croatia – especially its website www.studyincroatia.hr, along with the material about Croatian tourist attractions by the Croatian Tourism Bord and sweets by Kraš. The stand attracted a lot of attention, with many students and visitors asking questions about studying in Croatia and Croatia in general – especially as a new EU member state.
As part of the Europe Day at the Haifa University, a conference on the scientific co-operation with the EU was held, with an active participation of Ambassador Pjer šimunovic at a round table on the biggest EU challenges today.
