A delegation of the University of Split in a working visit to Israel

From 14 to 19 January 2018, a delegation of the University of Split - rector, vice-rectors, deans, vice-deans and other representatives of the University and its faculties - was in a working visit to the State of Israel, headed by prof. Dragan Primorac, M.D., Ph.D., and the rector of the University of Split, prof. šimun Andelinovic, Ph.D. A central part was a visit and meetings at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they were greeted by professors Peretz Lavie, President of the Technion, and Boaz Golany, Vice President for External Relations. At the meetings cooperation possibilities between Croatian partners and Technion were discussed, in particular exchange of students and professors. Besides Technion, they visited and had meetings at the Weizmann Institute of Science and the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation. Delegation also paid a visit to the Yad Vashem - The World Holocaust Remembrance Center in Jerusalem. At some of the visits, delegation was accompanied by Tina Krce, Chargée d"Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Israel.
