Vladimir Drobnjak took part at Dialogue with a Candidate conference

On Friday, 10 February 2006, Vladimir Drobnjak, Ambassador, Deputy Head of the Croatian State Delegation for negotiations with the European Union, and the Chief Negotiator, took part at the Dialogue with a Candidate conference in Vienna, the Republic of Austria

The conference was co-organized by the European Commission’s Representation to Austria and the Croatian Embassy, with the aim of presenting Croatia as a candidate country.

Ambassador Drobnjak informed the present parties about the important phases of the development of Croatia’s relations with the EU and the progress of the accession negotiations, i. e. the analytical overview of the Croatian legislature (screening).

The conference was opened by Marc Fähndrich, Head of the European Commission’s Representation to Austria, and Zoran Jašić, the Croatian Ambassador. Apart from Ambassador Drobnjak, speeches were held by Martin Sajdik, Head of the EU Directorate at the Austrian MFA, Hannes Swoboda, MP at the European Parliament, and Christoph Prantner, Der Standard journalist.
