Croatian Evening held in Brussels

Co-organised by the Croatian Embassy to Belgium, Croatian Mission to the European Communities, Croatian Mission to NATO, and the Croatian Tourist Community’s office to Belgium, on Wednesday 8 February 2006, the Croatian Evening was held in Brussels

This traditional, fourth in a row thematic presentation of the Croatian culture and tourism was held in prestigious premises of Concert Noble and was dedicated to the Dubrovnik Festival.

Croatian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium Ljerka Alajbeg, State Secretary for Tourism Zdenko Mičić and Dubrovnik Festival Director Ivica Prlender, held speeches before the numerous ambassadors, members of the Croatian and European parliaments, marshal of the Court of King Albert II, officials of Belgian ministries, EU and NATO, Croatian and Belgian tourist companies’ representatives and journalists. The musical part of the program features some of the participants from the Dubrovnik Festival.

The Croatian Evening was preceded the same day by a very successful tourist workshop, press conference by State Secretary Mičić, and a specially organised press conference of the Dubrovnik Festival. Croatia’s promotion in Brussels will continue 9 February 2006 at the Brussels Tourist Fair.
