In the spirit of their long standing cooperation, the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Croatia and the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna jointly organised the 31st gathering of Directors of Diplomatic Academies in Dubrovnik from 29 – 30 September 2003.

The Diplomatic Academy in Vienna, announced the holding of the following courses in 2004/2005, through the Diplomatic Academy of the Croatian Foreign Ministry:

  • DIPLOMA PROGRAMME
  • M.A.I.S. PROGRAMME (Master of Advanced International Studies)
  • SPECIAL PROGRAMME IN INTERNATIONAL STUDIES
  • SUMMER COURSE 2004

Diploma Programme lasts from October 2004 – September 2005. Deadline for applications is 15 March 2004. The course fee is 6,800 €. The best students will have the possibility to obtain scholarship and to have easier access to student loans. The entry exam will be held at the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna from 10 – 14 May 2004, but there is also the possibility to take the exam with the Austrian Embassy in Zagreb. Prerequisites: completed graduate studies, knowledge of English, and at least another language (French or German), until 30 years of age.

M.A.I.S. Programme lasts from October 2004 until June 2005. Deadline for applications is 15 March 2004. The course fee is 6,800 €. There is a possibility of obtaining scholarships, depending on the availability of funds from the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna. Prerequisites: completed course at the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna (or in Zagreb), excellent knowledge of English, knowledge of German is desirable.

Special Programme in International Studies lasts form 1 October 2004 until 30 June 2005. Deadline for applications is 15 March 2004. The course fee is 6.800 €. There is possibility of obtaining scholarships. The course is primarily conceived as a preparation for the M.A.I.S. Programme. Prerequisites: completed graduate studies (any Faculty) and excellent knowledge of English.

Application costs are 200 – 380 € per course, accommodation with breakfast is 330 € per month, and accommodation with 3 meals is 506 € per month.

Summer course in German and on Austria lasts for four weeks in August 2004. Deadline for applications is 15 June 2004. Fee is 1,630 €. There is no possibility for obtaining a scholarship. Prerequisites: completed graduate studies and beginner’s knowledge of German.
