State Secretary for European Affairs Marija Pejčinović Burić 7 February 2017 attended a meeting of the General Affairs Council (GAC) in Brussels

State Secretary for European Affairs Marija Pejčinović Burić 7 February 2017 attended a meeting of the General Affairs Council (GAC) in Brussels.

The meeting focused on preparations ahead of the European Council meeting scheduled for 9 and 10 March 2017 and monitoring the implementation of the European Council’s conclusions from its October and December 2016 meetings, while the Commission presented its “Communication on Next Steps for a Sustainable European Future”.

On the sidelines of GAC, Pejčinović Burić held talks with Irish Minister for European Affairs Dara Murphy.
