Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Davor Ivo Stier 6 February 2017 in Brussels attended a meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council.

Key topics of the meeting, chaired by High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, included the situation in Ukraine, with emphasis on the implementation of reforms in the past year and the Union’s support for the Minsk Protocol, as well as the political situation in Libya, with a discussion on the ways to cooperate with Libya on the issue of the Mediterranean route migration. During the working lunch, the foreign ministers talked about the situation in Egypt and how to enhance bilateral relations, while the follow-up FAC meeting discussed the Middle East Peace Process.
