State Secretary Matušić meets with DHS delegation

State Secretary for Political Affairs Frano Matušić on Thursday held a working meeting with a delegation from the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), led by Assistant Secretary for International Affairs Serena Hoy.

The officials underlined friendly relations between Croatia and the US and discussed Croatia joining the Visa Waiver Programme (VWP) as well as its benefits for the Croatian citizens.  

Both sides agreed that adding Croatia to the VWP would advance bilateral relations, notably in economy. Matušić thanked the DHS delegation as well as the staff at the US Embassy for their engagement and cooperation, which has contributed to the strengthening of relations.
