State Secretary at the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Gordan Bakota held today, 9 July 2004, in Zagreb, a working meeting with Secretary General of the Serbian and Montenegrin Ministry of Foreign Affairs Slobodan Vukčević
Bakota and Vukčević showed mutual interest for the continuation of the negotiations on succession, that is, the part of the Agreement that deals with the distribution of diplomatic and consular property (Annex B). They agreed that the meetings of the Joint Committee for the succession of diplomatic and consular property continue as soon as possible, the members of which include all of the legal successors from the former state. The last meeting of the Joint Committee was held in Ljubljana, June 2003.
