He pointed out that active regional policy is a fundamental part of Croatia’s foreign policy and that Croatia views the whole region in a European context.
The two ministers agreed that there are fewer and fewer open issues between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The implementation of the signed agreements will be conducted at expert level in the relevant ministries. The two ministers will encourage the meeting of the justice ministers so as to reach an agreement on property issues, as well as the meeting of the expert bodies in charge of the implementation of the refugee return program.
Minister Žužul asked Minister Ivanić for support in finding a just solution in the passing of the Framework Legislation on High Education in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in accordance with the opinion of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina that the draft of the said legislation is contrary to the vital interest of Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
