State Secretary Davor Božinović received Ambassador of the United States of Mexico to the Republic of Croatia, Pedro Gonzáles Rubio Sánchez

Ambassador Sánchez, who visited Croatia on the occasion of inauguration of the President of the Republic of Croatia Ivo Josipović, presented State Secretary Božinović with a diplomatic note informing that the Government of the United States of Mexico decided to lift the visa regime for the Croatian citizens, holders of regular passports. Following the entry into force of this Decision, which is expected in April 2010, the citizens of the Republic of Croatia will no longer require tourist and business visas to enter the United States of Mexico, and a stay of up to 180 days, or the transit visas to enter and stay up to 30 days.

Expressing his pleasure, State Secretary Božinović welcomed the above decision as an act confirming the good and friendly relations between the two states.
