State Secretary Andrej Plenković received delegation of Romanian Parliament’s Joint Committee for European Affairs

State Secretary Plenković talked with the Committee members about the process of Croatia’s EU negotiations

State Secretary Plenković talked with the Committee members about the process of Croatia’s EU negotiations. He informed them about the planned dynamics regarding their closure and the expected signing of the Treaty of Accession during Hungary’s presidency in the first half of the following year. State Secretary Plenković thanked for Romania’s assistance in transferring the experiences valuable to Croatia’s negotiation process, expressing hope in the further strengthening of the two countries’ political and economic relations.

Viorel Hrebenciuc, the Committee’s Chairman, pointed out the excellent cooperation between Croatia and Romania, promising Romania’s continued support for Croatia’s EU accession, especially in regard to ratifying the Treaty of Accession. He also emphasized the excellent relation between the two countries’ parliaments, namely in relations to the European affairs.
