With the granted and unanimous confirmation of Neven Mates as Croatia's representative on the European Court of Auditors there ended the appointment of representatives of Croatia to EU institutions. Croatia has 12 MPs on the European Parliament elected by Croatian citizens in April 2013. Their term in office will last until the next regular election of representatives to the European Parliament in 2014. The MPs are: Nikola Vuljanić, Marino Baldini, Oleg Valjalo, Sandra Petrović Jakovina, Biljana Borzan, Tonino Picula, Ivana Maletić, Davor Ivo Stier, Andrej Plenković, Dubravka Šuica, Ruža Tomašić and Zdravka Bušić.
Croatia's Commissioner on the European Commission is Neven Mimica, responsible for consumer protection.
Siniša Rodin has been appointed judge of the European Court of Justice, and Vesna Tomljenović has been appointed judge of the General Court. On theAssembly of the European Central Bank Croatia is represented by the Governor of the Central Bank of Croatia, Boris Vujčić. After joining the eurozone, the Governor of the Central Bank of Croatia will become a member of the Council of Governors.
Croatia is represented on the European Investment Bank by Finance Minister Slavko Linić.
Croatia has nine representatives on EU consultancy bodies – Economic and Social Council and the Council of Regions. The Economic and Social Council brings together employers, trade unions, farmers, consumer associations and other interest groups. Our representatives are Davor Majetić, Dragica Martinovic Džamonja, Violeta Jelić, Marija Hanževački, Anica Milićević-Pezelj, Vilim Ribić, Lidija Pavić-Rogošić, Marina Škrabalo and Toni Vidan.
On the Council of Regions representatives of regional and local authorities are represented : Vojko Obersnel, Mayor of Rijeka, as chairman of the Croatian delegation; Nikola Dobroslavić, country prefect of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, vice-chairman of the delegation; Snježana Bužinec, municipal prefect of Jakovlje; Bruno Hranić, municipal prefect of Vidovec; Danijel Marušić, county prefect of the Brod posavina County; Predrag Štromar, county prefect of the Varaždin County; Jelena Pavičić Vukičević, member of the Assembly of the City of Zagreb; and Ivan Jakovčić, member of the Assembly of the County of Istria.
