A presentation was held today at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs on the results of the UNDP activities in Croatia from 2007 to present

A presentation was held today at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs on the results of the UNDP activities in Croatia from 2007 to present. The report was drafted by an independent evaluation team and was jointly presented by the UNDP Zagreb Office and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.

The presentation was attended by more than 80 representatives of the state administration bodies, local self-government units, civil society organizations and international partners with whom the UNDP Zagreb Office has been cooperating in said period.

Addresses were delivered by Assistant Minister for Multilateral Affairs and Global Issues Vesna Batistić Kos and UNDP coordinator and representative Louisa Vinton. The presentation underlined the UNDP’s contribution to development activities achieved in cooperation with the competent Croatian institutions and pointed out the results achieved on the local level, as well as the UNDP’s part in transforming Croatia from a recipient to a donor country. During said period, Croatia and UNDP have cooperated as partners, achieving most notable success through the activities of the Centre of Excellence aimed at transferring Croatia’s experience and know-how from the Euro-Atlantic integration process to the countries in the region.
