First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Pusić is to attend 20 January in Brussels a regular meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council (FAC)

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Pusić is to attend 20 January in Brussels a regular meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council (FAC). The topics will include situation in the Central African Republic and EU support for its stabilization; the Southern Neighbourhood (Syria, Egypt); the Middle East Peace Process; South Sudan and EU engagement in Afghanistan post-2014. The ministerial lunch will focus on EU relations with its strategic partner Russia in light of preparations for the upcoming EU-Russia summit. A meeting of the EU-Iraq Cooperation Council is to be held on the fringes of the FAC.
