Today, 19 July 200, regular consultations between Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs were held in Ljubljana
Issues were reviewed regarding the political and security situation in Southeast Europe and further co-operation between the two countries in actively contributing to the processes of strengthening democratic stability and security in this part of Europe. State secretaries Biščević and Logar also discussed the co-operation in transferring Slovenia’s experiences and knowledge to Croatia in its process of approaching the EU, especially in view of its impending membership negotiations.
Both sides described the co-operation within multilateral organisations as very good, and reviewed the possibility of strengthening the co-operation within global and regional organisations, paying special attention to the priorities of Slovenia’s pending presidency over OSCE in 2005.
