Press Release 266/03

Concerning the attack on the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Sweden, Anna Lindh, Croatian MFA Tonino Picula sent his Swedish counterpart a letter with his best wishes for her recovery, expressing his outrage at such an act of brutal violence.

In his letter Minister Picula mentioned the contribution of Minister Lindh to the development of excellent relations between our countries, and her personal efforts in bringing Croatia closer to the European Union, particularly during Swedish EU-presidency.

Minister Picula reiterated the need to strengthen the common fight against terrorism and any other form of violence.
