One thousand years of Croatian-Hungarian connections...

On 15 May 2003, an exhibition was opened at the City Museum of Budapest about one thousand years of Croatian-Hungarian connections, prepared by the Croat self-government in Hungary.

In the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Hungary, Dr. Stanko Nick, the exhibition was opened by the Mayors of Budapest and Zadar, Gabor Demszky and Božidar Kalmeta, respectively. The occasional programme featured the popular choirs "Donat" from Zadar and "Luč" from Budapest.

During their visit to Budapest, the delegation of the City of Zadar met the representatives of the City of Budapest, as well as the leadership of Croat self-government headed by its president, Dr. Mijo Karagić.
