First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Pusić delivered an address at a conference marking the Croatian Diplomacy Day

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Pusić delivered an address at a conference marking the Croatian Diplomacy Day. She said that having closed the accession negotiations and adapted to the European standards and policy, we should “switch the chip” after 1 July as we are about to become one of the co-creators of and participants in that policy. She stressed that by entering the EU we were not leaving the region, but were even more so responsible for its stability and security.

The second annual conference of the Croatian Diplomats’ Association was themed “Challenges of a Multipolar World” and focused on Croatia’s upcoming EU entry, the new challenges for Croatian foreign policy and new active approach to all of the issues discussed within the EU and globally.
