Minister Jandroković received Turkish Ambassador Umur Apaydin
Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandroković received 2 May 2008 the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Croatia, Umur Apaydin, who handed over the copies of his credentials
Minister Jandroković welcomed the newly-appointed Turkish ambassador, pointing out the two countries’ excellent relations. He thanked for the support Turkey is showing Croatia in its NATO accession and informed Ambassador Apaydin about the course of Croatia’s EU membership negotiations.
Ambassador Apaydin congratulated Croatia on its receiving the NATO membership invitation and commended the progress it has made in the EU negotiations process.
Both sides expressed interest for a further enhancement of the excellent relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Turkey.
