Minister Grlić Radman receives Pan-European Union delegation

Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman met on Friday, March 14, 2025, with a delegation of the Pan-European Union. The meeting was attended by Mislav Ježić, member of the presidency of the International Pan-European Union and honorary president of the Croatian Pan-European Union; Davor Ivo Stier, Member of the European Parliament and Vice President of the Croatian Pan-European Union; Karlo Ressler, Member of the European Parliament and Vice President of the Croatian Pan-European Union; and Pavo Barišić, President of both the International and Croatian Pan-European Union.
 
The delegation informed Grlić Radman about the recently held General Assembly of the International Pan-European Union and the election of Barišić as the organization's new president. They also provided updates on upcoming events and planned activities of the Pan-European Union, which, as noted, has played a key role for decades in promoting European cooperation and unity.
 
Congratulating Barišić on his election as president of the International Pan-European Union, the minister stated that his appointment is not only a recognition of his personal commitment to the European vision but also a testament to the successful work of the Croatian Pan-European Union. Emphasizing the significance of the organization's role in supporting countries of the region during the pre-accession period and bringing together European forces in the area, the minister highlighted the need for further adaptation to the current political landscape. He called for continued dedication to strengthening European cooperation in the region, particularly in light of present geopolitical challenges.
