Minister Grlić Radman meets with European Commissioner for the Mediterranean
Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman met on Thursday, March 13, 2025, with European Commissioner for the Mediterranean Dubravka Šuica as part of her inaugural coordination visit.
The discussions focused on the portfolio under Commissioner Šuica’s management, and the two officials exchanged views on strengthening cooperation within MED9, the new Multiannual Financial Framework 2028-2034, migration challenges, and the importance of the Union for the Mediterranean.
Grlić Radman and Šuica placed special emphasis on economic growth and regional stability, as well as the initiative for a new Pact for the Mediterranean. The Minister reaffirmed Croatia’s commitment to a stronger European engagement in the region and its active participation in shaping policies that enhance stability, security, and economic development in the Mediterranean.
