Minister Gordan Grlić Radman on Tuesday met with the incoming Canadian ambassador to Croatia, Jessica Blitt.

Officials underscored satisfaction with the development of relations between the two countries, brought even closer thanks to the large Croatian diaspora in Canada, as well as the need to advance relations in terms of an all-level strategic partnership, notably in energy, science, and trade. They reflected on the high-level visits of 2023, a year that the two countries mark the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations.

Grlić Radman and Blitt also discussed the current global and regional geopolitical challenges, notably the war in Ukraine, situation in Southeast Europe and crisis in the Middle East. The ambassador praised Croatia’s presidency of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA).
