Minister Grlić Radman meets with incoming French ambassador Fieschi

Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman on Tuesday received incoming French ambassador Fabien Fieschi. Officials highlighted the very good bilateral relations between Croatia and France, consistently on the upswing thanks to the Strategic Partnership Agreement signed in 2021 by Croatian Prime Minister Plenković and French President Macron.
 
The advancement of bilateral cooperation and the expansion of the two countries’ cooperation was additionally underscored by the procurement of French-made Rafale fighter jets for the Croatian Air Force. In light of that, the two officials stressed the importance of further strengthening the economic cooperation and boosting trade.
 
Grlić Radman and Fieschi also discussed the current European and global topics, such as the situation in the Western Balkans, European perspective of the countries in the region, Ukraine, and the Middle East.
