Minister Grlić Radman receives inaugural visit from Bulgarian ambassador Kruleva

Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman on Monday received inaugural visit from the Bulgarian Ambassador to Croatia, Iva Nikolaeva Kruleva. Officials underscored satisfaction with the two countries’ friendly relations, connected as EU and NATO allies by convergent views on a number of issues. Grlić Radman reiterated support for Bulgaria’s joining the Schengen Area, adding there was room for cooperation in terms of exchanging experiences in regard to the joint goal of joining the OECD.
 
The two officials emphasized the importance of further engagement in ensuring the stability and security of the Western Balkans, notably by continuing the enlargement process. In the context of the current geopolitical challenges, they underlined the importance of additional strong cooperation among the EU member states.
