Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman participated in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum on Friday and Saturday, April 11 and 12, 2025, where he had the opportunity to meet with numerous counterparts.

The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations, enhancing regional cooperation, and addressing shared foreign policy challenges. Grlić Radman used the occasion to extend an official invitation to the upcoming Dubrovnik Forum, which will be held in July. He stated that the forum will serve as a platform for open dialogue and strategic thinking, as well as another opportunity to deepen partnerships through sustainable diplomatic engagement.

As part of the Forum in Antalya, Grlić Radman held a meeting with the High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Schmidt. The focus of the discussion was on the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with particular emphasis on the need to uphold the constitutional order, ensure the equality of the three constituent peoples, and maintain the effective functioning of state institutions.

On that occasion, Grlić Radman reiterated that Croatia continues to provide strong support for the reform process and the full implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement as the foundation of peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He emphasized that Croatia remains a constructive partner in all international efforts aimed at promoting stability and supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina's European perspective.

During the Diplomacy Forum, the Minister participated in the panel “European Security @ a Critical Juncture,” where participants reflected on some of the most significant challenges facing Europe today. In the discussion, the Minister emphasized that Croatia, in an increasingly complex security environment, remains firmly committed to a strong and united Europe, grounded in solidarity, strategic responsibility, and close transatlantic cooperation. He also highlighted that European security is closely linked to the stability of our immediate neighbourhood, particularly the Western Balkan states, where full respect for the constitutional order and equality of all three constituent peoples in Bosnia and Herzegovina remains of key importance. Describing the discussion as constructive and focused on preserving peace and building a safer and more resilient Europe, the Minister stated that the Forum once again proved to be a platform for high-level dialogue on regional and global stability.

On the sidelines of the Antalya Forum, a trilateral meeting was held between the foreign ministers of Croatia, Turkey, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ministers Gordan Grlić Radman, Hakan Fidan, and Elmedin Konaković exchanged views on key political and security developments in Southeast Europe. The talks focused on the need to preserve the constitutional framework of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ensure institutional functionality, and advance electoral reforms that would enable legitimate political representation of Croats.

On this occasion, Grlić Radman reaffirmed Croatia’s clear position on the importance of ensuring the equality of all three constituent peoples, as a cornerstone of Bosnia and Herzegovina's democratic and European future. He emphasized that Croatia will continue to actively support Bosnia and Herzegovina’s EU path and will constructively contribute to all efforts aimed at preserving peace, dialogue, and progress throughout the Western Balkans.
