Croatian pavilion opened at World Expo 2025 Osaka

On April 13, 2025, the National Commissioner of the Republic of Croatia for World Expo 2025 Osaka and State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Zdenko Lucić, attended the official opening of the World Expo in Osaka, during which he also officially inaugurated the Croatian pavilion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
 
Joining Lucić at the ceremony were the Ambassador of Croatia to Japan, Dražen Hrastić; the Honorary Consul of Croatia in Osaka, Shigeki Ebi; the Director of the Croatian Pavilion, Edouard Tripković Katayama; and the Pavilion’s Chief Designer, Pero Vuković.
 
Following the ceremony, State Secretary Lucić met with the EU Ambassador to Japan and EU Commissioner for World Expo 2025 Osaka, Jean-Eric Paquet, and took part in the official opening ceremony of the EU pavilion.
