Minister Jandroković pointed out that Croatia highly appreciated the assistance and support provided by the United States of America in a number of important issues, in particular during Croatia’s accession to the membership of NATO, and in the current process of Croatia’s accession to the European Union. Ambassador Foley said that this type of support will continue in the future, and in this context he welcomed last week’s agreement reached between Croatia and Slovenia regarding the unblocking of Croatia’s accession negotiations and settling of the border dispute.

They also exchanged views on the current events in Southeast Europe, affirming the role of Croatia as a model for other countries in the region in their reforms and accession to Euro-Atlantic integration processes.
