Minister Gordan Jandroković received Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Hassan Fadaifard

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandroković received 28 May 2008 the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Croatia, Mohammad Hassan Fadaifard

The collocutors agreed that the relations between the two countries are good, with a room for the improvement of economic co-operation, so that it would match the level of bilateral relations. The meeting focused on economic topics, where it was pointed out that a number of Croatian companies are already doing business in Iran for a longer period of time.

As regards the overall co-operation, Ambassador Fadaifard stated that the Iranian side is trying to stimulate co-operation on both the regional and city level.

Ambassador Fadaifard presented his views on the issue of Iran’s nuclear program, proposing a solution through a packet of measures based on sovereignty, mutual respect and righteousness, with the intent of presenting it to the UN Secretary General as well.

Ambassador Fadaifard took the opportunity to hand an official invitation for Minister Jandroković to participate in the Ministerial Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement, to be held July this year in Teheran.
