The ministers confirmed the existence of excellent bilateral relations, unburdened by outstanding issues, with a potential for their further strengthening in all of the areas of joint interest

The ministers confirmed the existence of excellent bilateral relations, unburdened by outstanding issues, with a potential for their further strengthening in all of the areas of joint interest. They agreed that today’s visit was a great opportunity to deepen the two countries’ friendly relations and cooperation.

Minister Jandroković informed his guest about the current status of Croatia’s EU negotiations, as well as the expected course of their closing and the signing of the Treaty of Accession.

Minister Miró wished Croatia a successful continuation of the negotiation process and familiarized his host with the specifics of the relations between the Principality of Andorra and the EU.

The ministers expressed a wish for intensifying the economic cooperation, especially in tourism, given the extensive experience Andorra has in that sector.

Ministers Jandroković and Miró also confirmed the existence of their countries’ excellent cooperation within multilateral organizations, most notably the UN. They have also discussed the current political and security in South Eastern Europe, expressing support for the efforts by the EU and other international factors in stabilizing said region.
