MFAEI published English-Croatian Glossary of Banking, Insurance and Other Financial Services
The MFAEI Translation Center, for the purposes of facilitating the translation of EU documents to Croatian, which is one of the prerequisites for joining the EU, continues to publish its series of language handbooks. It recently translated the English-Croatian Glossary of Banking, Insurance and Other Financial Services
Taking part in the making of the Glossary were the experts in the said fields and from the Croatian Institute of Language and Linguistics. The Glossary also attempts to standardise language solutions in translating from those fields to the extent to which the profession itself had standardised its terms. The Glossary will, therefore, be of use when translating official terminology, especially that concerning the EU. It can also serve students and experts as a handbook when reading foreign, especially English literature and official EU texts from the said areas.
