Assistant Minister Margeta expressed satisfaction with the intensified efforts by the Indonesian side in solving the problem, but still requested the further speeding up of the process of releasing the ship and its crew, so as to solve the situation as soon as possible.

Assistant Minister Margeta requested of the Ambassador Kunijoro-Jakti that the Indonesian army leave the ship, and that the ship and its crew be allowed to leave Surabaya.
