MFAEI expressed strong protest to Serbian Embassy over vandal act of destruction and theft of Croatian flag from tanker Cibalia

According to the ship’s captain, during yesterday’s fuel dumping in the port of Ostrožnica on the Sava River in the Republic of Serbia, a group of three perpetrators approached the tanker in a boat, cut off the flag and took it with them.

The captain has contacted the Serbian river police, which has inspected the scene, and has also contacted his ship agent. The ship has then left for its destination, a port in Bulgaria, aster which it will return to Vukovar.
