The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Croatia welcomes the adoption of the Constitutional Chart of the union of Serbia and Montenegro as a step in further stabilisation of the region.

We hope that past good cooperation between the Republic of Croatia and Serbia and Montenegro shall continue with a view to resolving the remaining open issues.

As it is known, the Republic of Croatia borders with both Serbia and Montenegro, and is interested in strengthening good neighbourly relations and good relations between Serbia and Montenegro. These good relations may contribute to further advancement of the state union between Serbia and Montenegro, as well as to advancement of the region in large.
