Mr. Tonino Picula, Croatian Foreign Minister, has received today Mr. Bernard Luketić, President of the Croatian Fraternal Union from Pittsburg in the USA, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of this important Croatian association in the USA.

During their meeting at the Foreign Ministry, Minister Picula handed to Mr. Luketić the decision on the admission into Croatian citizenship and a Croatian passport for him and his spouse. Thus, Croatia has made a requital for all that he and the Croatian Fraternal Union have done for the promotion of the Croatian name in the world, particularly in the USA and Canada, as well as for the preservation of Croatian culture and customs, humanitarian aid given to Croats, notably during the Independence War, and for the protection and promotion of its interests.
