Inaugural visit from UK ambassador

Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman on Monday received the inaugural visit from UK Ambassador Simon Thomas.

The two officials underscored friendly relations between Croatia and the UK, citing prospects for the intensification of high-level dialogue in the period ahead. They also underlined satisfaction with cooperation in defence and highlighted potential for the strengthening of economic and tourist cooperation. Other topics included the situation in Southeast Europe, with the two officials expressing interest to continue the dialogue on the subject.

Grlić Radman thanked Thomas for UK’s assistance in the repatriation of Croatian nationals during the crisis in Afghanistan.
