Foreign and European Affairs Minister Gordan Grlić Radman 4 October 2019 received on inaugural visit Albanian Ambassador Riza Poda.

The two officials underlined the excellent bilateral relations between Croatia and Albania, emphasizing the need to additionally boost economic cooperation. They also talked about EU enlargement, notably Albania’s European journey and the expected opening of accession talks this month. Grlić Radman reiterated Croatia’s strong support for Albania, in light of the implemented reforms and consistent meeting of criteria.
