The last day of his visit to Germany, Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman visited the Federal State of Saxony, where he attended a mass at the St. Catherine’s Church in Ralbitz, concelebrated by Archbishop Nikola Eterović, the Apostolic Nuncio to Germany.

The minister also visited Wittichenau, where he signed the guestbook at the City Council and visited the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the site of the grave of Croatian officer Janko “Krabat” Šajatović, celebrated by Germans as an important historical figure.

Grlić Radman also paid a visit to Krabat Milchwelt, where a reception was organized by the Croatian Consul Honorary to Saxony, Peter Neumann. Also in attendance were Speaker of the Saxon Parliament Matthias Rössler, Wittichenau Mayor Markus Posch and Deputy Mayor of Varaždin Zlatan Avar. In his address, the minister underlined the importance of continued deepening of the excellent relations between Croatia and Germany, on both the national and the regional level. He thanked Neumann and high Saxon officials for all their activities in bringing our countries closer together.
