The collocutors agreed that the two countries’ bilateral and multilateral cooperation was good and free of outstanding issues. Minister Jandroković thanked Ambassador Nguyen for his personal engagement in deepening the bilateral relations.

They confirmed that both countries’ economic potential could be further intensified, especially in regard to infrastructural projects, energy, tourism and technology transfer.

Minister Jandroković informed Ambassador Nguyen about the progress of Croatia’s EU negotiations, pointing out that after acceding to membership, Croatia would take over all the negotiations that the European Union had signed with third-party countries, which also includes Vietnam. This will open new possibilities of strengthening the bilateral economic cooperation.
