Croatian Foreign Minister Miomir Žužul took part at the conference of the Danube Co-operation Process

Croatian Foreign Minister Miomir Žužul took part today, 14 July 2004, in Bucharest, Romania, at the 2nd ministerial conference of the Danube Co-operation Process

The conference adopted today the declaration entitled “Danube as a European Life Line”. The Danube Co-operation Process is an important regional forum of the countries situated within the Danube hydrological basin. Its priorities include co-operation in the ecological protection of the Danube river, improvement of river traffic, and especially co-operation between all 13 countries of the Process in economy, culture and subregional relations, Minister Žužul pointed out in his speech. The Danube Co-operation Process adopted the new propositions and priorities of the Republic of Croatia, especially the international promotion of the Vučedol nature park, the construction of Danube-Sava canal, and the activities of the Sava Initiative seated in Zagreb.
